Ella tapping out her mum
While camping over New Years Holiday, my daughter Ella (3) witnessed a drowning and from that point was absolutely petrified of water, to the point where showers and baths became a very dramatic experience with screaming, tears and constantly saying she wanted to get out.
After 1 session of BodyTalk Ella willingly had a shower but still had the fear there so had to sit in the shower and clung to me for dear life but it was still a big step to have that running water on her and the fact that she actually got in without fuss.
Things gradually started to get better and better with her being less scared every time she showered.
After the 2nd session of BodyTalk she showered standing up putting her head under the water, not holding on to me, with no tears or screaming and even let me leave the room.....after 10min I asked her if she wanted to get out and she refused. I had to eventually tell her that if she didn't get out we would run out of water!
I am extremely pleased with the results of Ella's BodyTalk and would definitely recommend it to anyone considering it.....with results like that in 2 weeks how could you not.
Ella says: "BodyTalk is really fun, I liked it and I'm really happy."

PS from Rhianne: Just thought you would like to know we took Ella to the beach on the weekend and the first thing she said was "Can I play in the water?" She was jumping over the waves and even fell over into the water but that didn't phase her ... she continued to play. Kevin and I would just like you to know that we are so happy with the outcome and can't thank you enough.
Many thanks xxxxx
Many years ago during a knee operation, the surgeon removed the wrong cartilage! I suffered pain ever since and last year (2006) a total knee replacement was recommended (by a different surgeon!)
My darling wife suggested I see a BodyTalker. Being the world's biggest sceptic, I reluctantly agreed to embark on this new (to me) form of therapy. I had a BodyTalk session before being admitted to hospital and another straight after the operation.
My surgeon told me to use crutches for 3 months and then a walking stick for another 6 weeks, but 2 days after the op I was happily walking up the hospital corridor to the shower – no crutches, unassisted and without pain – only to be told off by my nurse!
After 10 days at home, receiving BodyTalk Access from my wife twice a day, and virtually no pain, I threw away my crutches and started back at renovating my boat. A month later we embarked on a world trip (not on the boat) which included lots of walking and climbing – no pain!
BodyTalk has made me realise the amazing ability of our bodies to self-heal – trauma, emotions, illness, physical injuries etc – enabling us to enjoy life to the full. At 73 I now look forward to a more enjoyable third age!

My husband already had Parkinson's disease when we were told he had Dementia!!
Over a period of time with BodyTalk treatment he has shown several subtle improvements after being almost incapable of performing every day activities.
Improvements are:
- After a shoulder operation 9 years earlier he had never raised his right arm higher than his shoulder. He is now able to raise it as well as his left arm – major positive!!
- He dresses himself reasonably well, combs his hair, brushes his teeth, bends down and puts on or takes off shoes, has improved posture, moves in and out of bed more easily, stands and sits, has improved eating skills and is also now talking a little – speech was affected by Parkinson's Disease. He has never been a great conversationalist, but now is occasionally holding short conversation and even with joking comments at times – more positives!!
- He is re-learning to count and say the ABC’s and can now follow (at times) simple instructions, (eg how to do exercises etc) when taken by care givers and others.
- He has recently started to wash dishes without prompting. He used to shuffle after getting out of bed, especially at night – he walks now!!
- Although these appear simple tasks for most people, they are a vast improvement to my husband's condition.
Our sincere thanks to our wonderful BodyTalk provider.

At the time that I made an appointment to have a BodyTalk session with Jill Nutsford I had been very sick with repetitive viral infections and was eventually reduced to part time hours at work. I had recently been admitted to hospital when I was finally overwhelmed with an inner ear infection and issues with diabetes. I was starting to feel quite burnt out and was extremely low on energy. On top of this my partner and I also had our house in Mount Maunganui on the market and we were moving to Auckland.
I had my first session with Jill and was amazed at how energised, centred, grounded and happy I felt. My partner noticed the difference in me immediately.
I continued on with sessions having them 7–10 days apart and went for approximately 5 sessions in total. Each time I became stronger within myself – mentally, emotionally and physically. The flow on effect of the sessions gave me the energy and strength to get our entire household packed and moved to Auckland under very stressful conditions. I also felt the urge to step up to the plate and heal relationships with members of my family and friends.
I had not expected that BodyTalk would give me more than just good physical health. I am grateful for those sessions providing me with what I needed to get better, stay better, and deal with a very difficult time in life, AND improve my relationships.
Jill is lovely practitioner, her approach is quiet and gentle, and she listens and gives feedback without judgment. Jill also checks and tests anything out of the ordinary until she finds answers. I felt safe and respected when Jill was working with me. BodyTalk is a wonderful healing modality; however, I believe it is important to find the right practitioner as well.
